Refund Policy

Hey there! Thanks for shopping with Trail Tails. Every item you see here is made just for you the moment you order — which means we don't keep stock sitting around and we don't do mass returns like the big guys.


That said, we’re real people who care about making things right if something goes sideways.


What We Can’t Take Back


Because your order is made to order (thanks to our print partner, Printful), we can’t offer returns or exchanges for:

  • The wrong size ordered

  • Changing your mind

  • Not loving the color or style

So please double-check our size guides and product photos before you click “Buy.” We want you to be stoked when it arrives.


When We Do Make It Right


If something arrives and it’s not what you expected — like it’s damaged, misprinted, or just plain not the item you ordered — that’s on us.

Shoot us an email at [your@email.com] within 7 days of getting your order. Include:

  • Your order number

  • A quick description of what’s wrong

  • A photo or two (we’re visual people)

We’ll take care of the rest — usually with a replacement or refund, no stress.


Lost in the Mail?


It happens (rarely, but still). If your package says “delivered” but it’s nowhere to be found:

  1. Check with neighbors, your mailbox, or your local post office.

  2. If it’s still missing, email us within 7 days and we’ll help figure it out.


⚠️ Heads-up: If the shipping address was typed wrong at checkout, we can’t offer refunds or free replacements — sorry!


International Orders


We [accept/do not accept] international orders. If you’re outside the U.S., please know that:

  • You may have to pay customs or import fees (we don’t control this)

  • Delays can happen during international shipping

  • We can’t refund or reship if a package is rejected at the border


Refund Timing


If we issue a refund, it’ll go back to your original payment method. It usually shows up within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
